I haven't put my kids' clothes back in their closet for a month

and it has been a good experiment! πŸ˜‡

A month's supply of fresh laundered clothes piled and squished into this basket

I did this 'experiment' because i was getting lazier at putting their clothes back into the closet every week, only to find that as i was folding them, they're the same clothes.
They kept on wearing the same thing over and over again, when i know they had more clothes than that.

And what was more annoying, my daughter kept wanting new clothes, and when we do get her some, she STILL wears the same old ones.
When i told her to change, or wear the new ones we got her, ada je la alasan dia.
"It doesn't feel nice", "It doesn't look nice with this", blablabla.

So, i just did it.

After i laundered and folded their clothes, i just arrange them nicely in this basket and left them there. Except for their undies, which i do put in their closets back. I think it's a good way to measure how many clothes they have. They have a lot... πŸ˜…

And guess what!
They've been surviving good with all the clothes they have! They're using them and getting creative at mixing up their fits. When they've completely used up all their clothes, only then i shall replenish their fresh laundered ones.

Therefore, yes. I think i'm going to keep doing this.
=)
